17-Year-Old Girl Shot Multiple Times in East New York McDonald’s Parking Lot
A 17-year-old girl was hospitalized after being shot multiple times late Monday night, July 20, 2026, in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in Brooklyn’s East New York neighborhood, police said.
Teen Injured in Brooklyn Shooting
According to the New York Police Department, officers responded just before midnight to the McDonald’s near Pennsylvania Avenue and Linden Boulevard after receiving reports of gunfire.
Police found the 17-year-old girl suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she is listed in stable condition and is expected to survive.
Investigators Examine Crime Scene
Detectives focused their investigation on a white Honda Pilot parked in the restaurant’s drive-thru. The SUV had visible blood on its bumper and what appeared to be a bullet hole in the passenger-side windshield.
Authorities have not confirmed whether the victim was inside the vehicle or standing nearby when the shooting occurred.
Investigators also recovered multiple shell casings from the parking lot.
Investigation Ongoing
No arrests have been made, and police have not released a possible motive for the shooting.
