Storm Team4 Forecast: Staying dry but nor’easter could bring weekend rain chances

What a week! The rain has cleared and we will have some sunshine Friday!

Well, most of us will have sunshine. We are watching a coastal low that has formed off the coast of the Outer Banks, spreading clouds into the region, mainly along the I-95 corridor.

Rain will hold off Friday but we are watching the track of this coastal low very closely as a small deviation in the track could completely change our forecast in our region.

As for your Friday, expect sunshine along I-81, clouds along I-95 with temperatures rising into the low 70s. It will be pretty windy however with winds out of the north gusting up to 25 mph.

Temperatures fall into the 50s during the overnight hours with continued windy conditions.

Through the day Saturday, the coastal low will track up the eastern seaboard. It will spread rain into the region from the east to the west starting late Saturday morning and continuing through Sunday.

Expect shower on and off through the day on Sunday and into Monday morning before the system finally moves well north. Temps this weekend will be in the 70s to the west of D.C. and the 60s along I-95.

By Monday, the winds have calm and temps top out around 70 degrees. We head into the mid to upper 70s by Tuesday.

There is a chance for a few sprinkles on Tuesday as a little system passes through the region. We are back in the low to mid-80s for Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
