NYC Man Removed From Delta Flight After Alleged Drunken Tirade
A Brooklyn man allegedly launched into a drunken, racist and profanity-laced outburst aboard a Delta flight bound for Atlanta, prompting police to remove him from the aircraft before it left New York.
Jerome Anixter, 60, was taken off Delta Flight 2342 by Port Authority police at approximately 1:30 p.m. Thursday following the reported disturbance, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Police were called to the plane at John F. Kennedy International Airport after receiving reports that a passenger who appeared intoxicated was disrupting the cabin as the aircraft prepared for departure, according to the sources.
Video said to have been recorded by another passenger shows the man shouting a racial slur and yelling, “Can you believe these mother f–kers?!” as Port Authority officers escorted him from the flight.
The footage was posted on X by @thenewsjunkie. According to the account, the passenger who recorded it also claimed the man shouted “Death to America” and mimicked shooting at people aboard the plane.
The Post could not immediately verify that the person shown in the video was Anixter, although sources said the flight information seen in the clip matched the details of the incident.

“Delta has zero tolerance for disruptive behavior, and we thank law enforcement for their assistance in removing this unruly customer,” an airline spokesperson said in a statement to The Post.
“We apologize to the customers on Delta flight DL2342 for this experience and any delay in their travels.”
The flight was carrying 160 passengers and six crew members. It ultimately departed JFK about 45 minutes behind schedule after the incident.
Following his removal, Anixter was arrested and accused of assault, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, sources said.
Authorities had not immediately disclosed what prompted the alleged confrontation on the aircraft.
The Post contacted Anixter for comment.
