Man fatally stabbed during argument at CTA station on Near West Side
A man died after being stabbed during an argument at a CTA train station on the Near West Side Thursday afternoon, police said.
The man, 41, was at the Damen Green Line CTA station in the 2000 block of West Lake Street around 3 p.m. when another man approached and began an argument, according to Chicago police. The men began physically fighting and the suspect stabbed the man in the neck with a sharp object.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect fled the scene heading west, police said. No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
