Woman’s Twin Can’t Wait To Meet Her Newborn Baby. The Visit Is 2x More Exciting Than She Expected – The List

Cassie Willemse was excited to become a first-time mom, and her twin sister Alexandra was elated to be the ever-loving aunt. But when Cassie found out she was having twins, she and her husband decided to share the news after the babies were born. In September 2026, the 24-year-old mother posted a TikTok of Alexandra meeting her sons for the first time. Alexandra looked at one of her nephews before guessing his gender and learning his name and weight. As she took baby Grant Alexander — named in her honor — from her sister, Cassie’s husband came into view holding the other twin boy. Alexandra asked, “What the f—k?” before hearing how much the second baby weighed. She also said, “Shut up,” and looked around the room, flabbergasted, before tearing up.

Cassie told People about her decision to hide the number of babies she expected. “I had always thought to myself that if I ever got pregnant with twins, I wouldn’t tell anyone, not thinking that I would actually ever have twins,” she said. “The day I found out I was having twins and told my husband, I jokingly said we should keep it a secret, and he was totally on board. And from then on, it was just a secret the two of us knew.”

This baby announcement is a dream come true for Cassie Willemse

Bringing new life into the world is always exciting, and some of the best modern pregnancy announcements happen online. However, Cassie Willemse and her husband’s baby announcement was so iconic that it made people cry. The heartwarming TikTok of Cassie’s twin sister, Alexandra, meeting her twin boys gained over 4 million likes since late September 2026.

Although one comment joked that Alexandra was “hurt, shocked, [and] surprised,” Cassie mentioned how overjoyed her twin felt. The new mom told People, “She wasn’t mad or sad. She was and is so excited since that point on that she gets to spoil two little boys.” She also said she’s lucky to have her twin, which any new parent would appreciate knowing before their baby’s arrival. However, the shock part was pretty accurate. “I honestly thought she was so shocked that she was gonna pass out,” Cassie recalled. “Her face seemed to go white, and I was worried she was gonna hit the ground with the baby.” Thankfully, Alexandra didn’t hit the ground with her namesake nephew, Grant Alexander.
