Woman, 21, sexually assaulted near the University of Chicago in Hyde Park
Chicago police are investigating the sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman near the University of Chicago in Hyde Park early Sunday.
The woman told officers the assault happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in the 5600 block of South University Avenue, Chicago police said.
She went to the University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment, police said.
It was not immediately clear if the woman is a student.
Area 1 detectives were investigating.
