Police shut down 6 Northern Virginia massage parlors in human trafficking probe

Police rescued several human trafficking victims in connection with a prostitution scheme that operated from six massage parlors, which have been shut down in Northern Virginia.

After an investigation that spanned multiple counties, Manassas City Police arrested three people and seized several hundred thousand dollars together with documents that support the probe, police said.

The two women and one man who were arrested are facing various felonies, such as aiding prostitution, sexual battery and keeping a bawdy place.

Three of the businesses that were shut down are located in the same complex, the Cobblestone Business Center on Mathis Avenue, including White Moon Spa and Oriental Massages.

Police are asking anyone with information about this investigation to call the Manassas City Police Department at 703.257.8000 or Crime Solvers.
