Panicked 911 Call Reveals Aftermath of UGA Student’s 8th-Floor Fall

Panicked 911 calls captured the terrifying moments after University of Georgia senior Kristin Sargent accidentally fell from her eighth-floor apartment—and survived the plunge.

Sargent, 21, was taken to intensive care after falling from a window onto the pool deck of her apartment building in Athens, Georgia. The incident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

“We were dancing, and she just fell out of the window,” a distressed friend told a 911 dispatcher, according to a call obtained by The Post. “She’s not moving.”

The woman said she and her friends had been drinking, but insisted, “It was nothing extreme at all, we were all fully conscious.”

A separate 911 caller, who lived in the Rambler Athens building, said he witnessed the fall from his fifth-floor apartment.

“I just saw someone fall out of, like, the eighth-floor window and land on the grass by the pool,” he told the dispatcher. “They look, like they’re unconscious, at least.”
