Oregon Driver Who Confronted School Shooter Shows Bullet-Riddled Truck
A driver who tried to stop the Oregon school shooting has revealed the bullet holes left in his vehicle after the teenage gunman allegedly opened fire on him.
The unidentified driver made the first 911 call at about 1 p.m. Thursday, reporting that he had been “shot at multiple times by a person with a long gun.” The gunman later entered Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, where three students and a teacher were killed.
The shaken driver showed how his red Toyota Tacoma had been struck by gunfire, with bullets smashing through the truck’s windows.
“Boom boom, through my canopy, shattered out the back window,” the driver said in a video as he described the terrifying burst of shots.
“Shattered out that f–king window,” he said, referring to the vehicle’s rear window, before turning the camera toward the damaged windshield.

“[The bullet] went right through the f–king windshield. Right above my f–king head. Holy s–t.”
At least six large bullet holes were visible across the driver’s pickup truck.
Police said the driver called 911 before a bystander entered the school and fatally shot the unidentified 16-year-old gunman.
When officers arrived, the shooter was already dead. Three students, ages 5, 8 and 11, and a teacher had also been killed.
Another student and a teacher suffered critical injuries.
