On October 4, 2026, the 85-year-old TV personality arrived at the New York premiere of “The Social Reckoning” with the shortest haircut she’s been seen sporting in decades. With her usual side part and long bangs swept over to one side, the longest strands of this fresh haircut landed just at her jaw. The new hairdo is Stewart’s twist on the bixie cut, which lands somewhere between her usual bob and a cropped pixie cut. In many cases, a bixie can be a gorgeous haircut for older women to try when they’re ready to switch things up a bit with their mane. It seems like this is precisely what Stewart has done after so many years in her blond bob era.
