Jay-Z will perform Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show live from Los Angeles

This is a public service announcement … Jay-Z is performing the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show.
The NFL, Apple Music and the rap mogul announced the news on Monday ahead of the Feb. 14, 2027, game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has produced the halftime show since 2019 and recently inked a five-year extension to continue in the role through 2029.
Since Roc Nation took over, the halftime shows have leaned more heavily into hip-hop and rap. Last year’s show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, featured Bad Bunny with guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
The last Super Bowl Halftime Show in Los Angeles in 2022 included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar with cameos by 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. Other recent performers include Kendrick Lamar/SZA (2025), Usher (2024) and Rihanna (2023).
Despite his connection to the NFL and many of the past performers, Jay-Z has never played at the Super Bowl. The 25-time Grammy winner has been touring this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut studio album “Reasonable Doubt” and the 25th anniversary of “The Blueprint.”
The Jay-Z 30 Tour started with three nights at Yankee Stadium in July, followed by September shows in London (two) and Paris (one). His final scheduled shows were held on Oct. 23 and 24 at SoFi Stadium, which will now essentially serve as a warm-up for his upcoming Super Bowl performance.
Bad Bunny, joined by many famous faces, took the stage during the big game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.
