CTA wants your feedback to improve bus service

Got an idea to improve CTA bus service? The agency wants your input.

The survey is available online at CTABusVisionProject.com until Nov. 30.

The CTA is looking for ways to increase bus speeds and improve transfers with Metra and Pace.

The agency says it is considering these changes:

  • increased frequency
  • expanded service hours
  • route adjustments
  • enhanced transfers and connections
  • and “new bus priority infrastructure”

The survey takes around 20 minutes. Participants will be entered into a lottery for one of five $100 digital Visa gift cards.

The CTA will also take feedback during 10 in-person community events though the end of November. A full list of them is available on the survey website.

The CTA plans to submit the input to its oversight agency, the Northern Illinois Transit Authority, at the end of the year. NITA takes over service planning for CTA, Metra and Pace in 2027.
