’60s Star Natalie Wood’s Oldest Daughter Is Her Iconic Mom’s Carbon Copy – Women
Natalie Wood carved out a place for herself as an incomparable icon of ’60s Hollywood, drawing praise for her performances in films like “West Side Story” and “Splendor in the Grass.” Although her time was tragically cut short in 1981, her eldest daughter, Natasha Gregson Wagner, has since reminded the world that a piece of Wood remained beyond her iconic films. And as seen in side-by-side pics, Wagner is nearly a carbon copy of her mother.
Wood (left) is pictured in 1979 while Wagner (right) is pictured in 2011, when both mother and daughter were in their forties. Similar to other pics of nepo babies and their look-a-like moms, they not only share the same dark curls, but also the same nose and prominent cheekbones. To add the cherry on top, they have the same face shape and a similar sparkle in their stunning dark brown eyes.
Even Wagner has acknowledged the physical similarities between herself and her late mother, which others have also noted. “When I was younger, I would get stopped on the street by people who would say things like: “You look so much like this actress, you’ve probably never heard of her, but her name was Natalie Wood,” she shared the heartwarming tidbit with Daily Mail. As well as discussing setting aside time to deal with her grief in a healthy manner, she went on to reminisce over the close relationship they had and how they often liked the same things, which explains the career path Wagner eventually took.
Natasha Wagner resembles her mother in more ways than one
Aside from a considerable physical resemblance, Natasha Wagner has also shown she’s just as much of an acting talent as her mother, Natalie Wood. Over the years, she has built up quite the substantial repertoire under her belt, including credits in “CSI” and “High Fidelity”. However, Wagner revealed that juggling acting while maintaining a healthy family relationship was challenging. “Acting can break your heart like no relationship,” Wagner admitted in an exclusive with VoyageLA. “After my daughter, Clover was born in 2012, I hung up my acting shoes to be a full time mom.”
Although she might have stopped acting, Wagner has since delved into other pursuits. She turned her attention towards building a perfume brand, and even here Wagner is tireless in reviving her mother’s memory. Not only is the brand called L’Amour Mére (which is Mother’s Love in French), but she also named her first product ‘Natalie’ as a tribute to her mom. ” If I could somehow keep her fragrance alive, perhaps she would not be entirely gone,” she candidly wrote (per Daily Mail). It’s a touching message and we think there’s no better way to honor Natalie Wood’s memory.
